✅ What to Do
[M]Know that 5+ known suckling sessions in the first 2 years establish milk-mahram. (Muslim 1444) [1]Breastfeed your children for 2 full years if possible. (Qur'an 2:233) [2]Know who becomes mahram through milk: the milk mother, her husband, their children, milk siblings.
[2]Seek a trustworthy wet nurse if you cannot breastfeed. (Qur'an 65:6)
🚫 What Not to Do
[H]Marry a milk-relative who is within the prohibited degrees. (Qur'an 4:23) [H]Use suckling after the age of 2 years to create mahram relationships.
[h]Mistake the foster mother or milk-siblings for strangers — they are family.
