✅ What to Do

[M]Believe in the existence of jinn — created from smokeless fire. (Qur'an 15:27)
[1]Seek refuge in Allah from shaytan by saying "A'udhu billahi minash shaytanir rajeem."
[1]Recite Ayat al-Kursi before sleeping — a protector from shaytan until morning. (Bukhari 3275)
[1]Recite Surah Al-Falaq and An-Nas 3x morning and evening for protection. (Abu Dawud 5084)
[1]Close doors and mention Allah's name when entering home — shaytan cannot open closed doors. (Muslim 2012)
[2]Cover vessels, extinguish lamps, and tie water skins with Bismillah. (Bukhari 5624)
[2]Say "Bismillah" before undressing — jinn cannot see your 'awrah.

🚫 What Not to Do

[H]Seek help, protection, or intercession from jinn — this is major shirk. (Qur'an 72:6)
[H]Practice magic or sorcery that involves jinn. (Bukhari 5763)
[h]Sleep alone in a deserted house without reciting adhkar.
[h]Frighten others with stories about jinn or exaggerate their power.
[h]Eat or drink with the left hand — shaytan eats with the left. (Muslim 2020)
