✅ What to Do

[M]Know the two types: Nifaq I'tiqadi (belief hypocrisy — disbelief hidden) and

Nifaq Amali (action hypocrisy — having hypocritical traits while believing).

[1]Avoid the signs of hypocrisy: lying, breaking promises, betraying trust, obscenity. (Bukhari 33)

[2]Check your intention (niyyah) regularly to ensure sincerity.

[1]Repent when you catch yourself in any trait of nifaq.

[1]Strive to make your inner state match your outer state. (Qur'an 2:8-20)

What to Do ↑ As You Wish ↓

[H]Be guilty of major hypocrisy (nifaq akbar) — it lands in the lowest depths of Hell. (Qur'an 4:145)

[h]Be hasty in calling others hypocrites — only Allah knows the heart.

[h]Be two-faced — saying one thing and believing another.

[h]Display piety while practicing sin in secret.
