✅ What to Do

[M]Provide food, clothing, and shelter for your wife and children according to your means. (Qur'an 65:7)

[M]The husband must provide even if the wife is wealthy — her wealth is her own.

[1]Spend on your family before anyone else — the best charity is spending on family. (Bukhari 1962)

[1]Spend on parents and close relatives if they are in need. (Qur'an 2:215)

[M]Support children until they are independent — daughters until marriage, sons until earning.

[1]Maintain ex-wife during her iddah. (Qur'an 65:6)
