✅ What to Do

[M]Avoid all major sins (kaba'ir) — they lead to Hell if unrepented. (Qur'an 4:31)
[1]Know the seven destructive sins the Prophet warned of:
1. Shirk (associating partners with Allah)
2. Magic (sihr)
3. Killing a soul Allah has forbidden except by right
4. Consuming riba (interest)
5. Consuming the wealth of orphans
6. Fleeing from the battlefield
7. Slandering chaste, believing women
[1]Avoid minor sins as well — persistence on minor sins makes them major.
[1]Repent immediately after any sin — Allah forgives all sins except shirk if unrepented. (Qur'an 4:48)
[1]Make up for sins with good deeds — good deeds erase bad deeds. (Qur'an 11:114)
[2]Know that avoiding major sins expiates minor sins. (Muslim 89)

🚫 What Not to Do

[H]Commit any major sin with the intention of repenting later.
[h]Despair of Allah's mercy regardless of sin. (Qur'an 39:53)
[H]Publicize your sins — Allah conceals, so you should conceal too. (Bukhari 6062)
[h]Minimize sins saying "it's only a small sin."
