✅ What to Do
[M]Pay Zakat al-Fitr before the Eid prayer — a sa' of staple food per person. (Bukhari 1503) [M]Pay it on behalf of yourself and all dependents — including the unborn child (recommended).
[2]Pay it a day or two before Eid to allow distribution. (Bukhari 1506) [M]Give zakat al-fitr to the poor and needy in your local community.
[2]Give voluntary charity (sadaqah) regularly — even a smile is sadaqah. (Tirmidhi 1957)
🚫 What Not to Do
[H]Delay Zakat al-Fitr until after the Eid prayer without excuse. (Bukhari 1511) [h]Remind others of your charity — it nullifies the reward. (Qur'an 2:264)
